**General Purpose and Scope of the Position**:

As a Customer Service Specialist, your expertise will allow you to deliver customer-centered service by collaborating with cross-functional business partners including scheduling, production, technical sales, and key account management. Leveraging your skills and working with customers on the front line, youll make a direct impact on the business to help our pet partners flourish. Along the way, youll be guided by our deep-rooted culture and have the support and tools you need to do your job, learn, grow and succeed.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will serve a key link in our order transaction process, processing all in-bound purchase orders while communicating directly with our pet partners as well as our key account management team. You will be helping manage our production schedule while meeting our pet partner's order expectations. You will have the opportunity to influence our execution process and our operating procedures.

**Key Skills and Abilities Include:**

* High School Diploma and 3-5 years + related experience in customer service and order processing and customer communication (prefer Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field)

* Strong Microsoft Office skillset and experience Office 365, Outlook, Excel, and Word

* Experience in an Inside Sales function

* Experience with a Tier 1 ERP, JDE, and Deacom experience preferred

* Experience in agriculture or pet nutrition preferred

**Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:**

* Accurately process 100s of transactions daily while balancing communication to our pet partners

* Identifying customer insights that can assist the key account management team with delivering value

* Ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives

* Soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness

* Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application

**Compensation and Benefits:**
