Your Title: Associate, Vehicle Recovery Specialist

Your Location: Remote Anywhere within the USA

You Report To: Associate Manager, Asset Management and Skip Tracing

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm EST

Compensation: $19.50/hour plus bonus

First Help Financial, voted and certified as a Great Place to Work by our workforce for three years in a row, is adding a new partner to our Loss Mitigation department to accommodate our remarkable growth! The primary role of the Asset Associate is to successfully assign, track, and coordinate all approved repossessions. The Asset Associate will follow First Help Financials process for all repossession activities. A successful candidate will have moderate comprehension of repossessions and excellent communication skills. The primary objective of the position is recovery collateral efficiently to mitigate losses.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Validate repossession requests made via the assignment dashboard
• Thorough review of assignment criteria outlined in FHF repo manual
• Assignment to approved repo agents to include tracking and follow up for timely recovery of collateral
• Maintain effective communication with repossession companies
• Ensure proper statuses in all systems pre/post repossession
• Process collateral releases to agents/auctions upon reinstatement
• Hold/close reviews on all repossessions
• Comply with FHF compliance requests and requirements
• Some Administrative tasks will be required
• Additional duties as assigned by management

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• 2+ years of consumer finance or related industry experience
• High School Diploma from an accredited institution or GED equivalent required
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality control standards
