Description:

Title: General Laborer Management: No Department(s): Production FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Production Manager Last Revised: January 2020 **Summary of essential job functions**

Skilled in managing a diverse set of duties in order to bring about smooth flow of companys operations.

Load and unload items from machines, carts and dollies.

Feed or place items into equipment for processing.

Lubricate equipment.

Running general production equipment, grinders, saws, etc.

Assembling and disassembling equipment under moderate supervision with hand tools.

Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

Assist with daily production schedule of fabricators, painters, electricians, hydraulic technicians and yard men as needed.

Assure that weekly schedule is adhered to and completed.

Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.

Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the production floor.

Keep production areas clean and organized.

Work as part of a team.

Follow all company rules and safety policies.

Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Landscaping, mowing and painting.

**Minimum requirements**

Previous production experience required.

Valid drivers license

In depth knowledge of cleaning and maintenance processes.

Must be able to work full time weekday hours, as well as work weekend overtime hours as directed by plant supervisor.

**Abilities required**

Be dependable, trustworthy and credible in the workplace.

Be highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task.

Take pride and ownership in ones work.

Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders and ability to life/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
