Job Title: Quality Inspector
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
Location: Henrico, VA
Pay: $25.25/hour
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing visual inspections, using mechanical measuring tools, and verifying product quality against engineering drawings and specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining product consistency and supporting a culture of quality on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, oscilloscopes, etc.) to ensure products meet specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to verify quality requirements.
- Document inspection results accurately and report non-conformances.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
- Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.
Qualifications: - Prior experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with mechanical measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and basic test equipment (oscilloscopes).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
