Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant (Acquisitions and Others) Length: 1 year Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid) Job Description: This will be a hybrid role. 2 days remote (Mon, Fri) 3 days onsite (Tue-Thu)
Prepare monthly and quarterly analyses and journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and related accounts, and perform reconciliations related to manual 1) acquisition accounting (including ad hoc end-of-life analyses), 2) non-standard transactions and 3) Marketplace transactions
Prepare flux analyses, research the discrepancies, and explain the root cause
Coordinate and maintain detailed status tracker of cross-functional open items
ssist with other special projects, as needed
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Hardware, Software and SaaS revenue guidance in US GAAP, with ASC 606 and understanding of revenue-related metrics (RPO and ARR)
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform thorough analyses
Critical thinker with a risk-based approach mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Experience working with NetSuite preferred
Experience working with SAP S4/HANA preferred
Excellent knowledge of SAP, Tableau, and SFDC is a plus
dvanced knowledge of Excel and Google Suite
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to details
Motivated self-starter who takes initiative and drive projects to conclusion
Effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline, CPA preferred
4+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and operation in the technology industry. Big 4 and relevant industry experience preferred
