US Compensation Controller

We are seeking a US Compensation Controller to oversee employee expense reporting, forecasting, and controls for our financial services client. Acting as the link between Finance and HR, this role ensures compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and drives the global compensation strategy in partnership with the Group Compensation Controller in London.

Responsibilities:

• Own policies and controls for employee expenses, including variable pay and deferred awards
• Manage SOX compliance and chart of accounts for compensation
• Partner with HR to monitor and forecast employee costs (salaries, bonuses, taxes, benefits)
• Provide reporting, scenario analysis, and insights to support leadership decisions
• Support CFO/Deputy CFO on the financial impact of new compensation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with SEC, Client, NFA, CFTC, and other regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of compensation accounting/control experience
