divh2SOLV Energy Epc Warranty Manager/h2pSOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America./ppThe EPC Warranty Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of warranty cases across a global network, including its distributors and Subcontractors./ppPosition Responsibilities and Duties:/pulliSet the vision and multi-year roadmap for a centralized Warranty organization supporting PV, BESS, Technical Services, and HV; aligning with corporate goals and BU delivery plans./liliRecruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing warranty team while implementing retention strategies, performance management systems, and career development programs to build organizational capability and ensure continuity of warranty operations across multiple EPC projects./liliReview, respond, and track to completion to all warranty claims submitted for EPC projects./liliUtilize broad industry knowledge to manage claims according to EPC contracts, Vendor contracts, and best industry practices./liliDevelop relationships with outside vendors across SOLVs service area and potential service areas to provide competitive pricing for work not performed by SOLV Technicians./liliFacilitate quick response to valid warranty claims by dispatching and managing internal and external resources across multiple diverse geographical regions./liliReview all incoming repair quotes and coordinate pricing for all aspects of remediation, including but not limited to field labor time, SCADA time, HV time, material, equipment, and subcontractors./liliCoordinate and support Operations and Legal departments to issue responses to legal notices as well as issue notices to vendors and subcontractors as necessary./liliReview and approve all invoices associated with EPC warranty work./liliManage all purchase orders and subcontracts associated with EPC warranty work./liliTrack and report, monthly, actual cost verses estimated/forecast./liliProvide monthly report to the Executive Committee on key warranty areas of focus and improve efficiency./liliEnsures Warranty budget is on track to meet SOLVs financial goals./liliReview field reports to improve budgets and annual operating costs./liliProvide feedback to EPC design and construction group on issues found throughout the warranty lifecycle with a goal to produce a higher quality project to the clients and reduce SOLVs warranty costs./liliWork with Business Development Manager to prepare adequate reserve estimates for new projects./liliReview all EPC contract warranty language and propose modifications and redlines to manage company risk./liliProvide historical failures to Business Development Manager for proposals or during contract negotiation as needed./liliInput into estimating and establishing cost parameters, budgets, initiatives, and potential ROI./liliUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations./liliAccomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments./liliComplete other responsibilities as assigned./li/ulpObjectives or Goals to Measure Performance:/pulliAdherence to SOLV and other Company policies and procedures./liliWork within SOLVs business processes and ensure an efficient working environment./liliQuality control: accurate work product, integrity, and excellence of completed project repairs./liliCustomer/Client Satisfaction./liliRapid resolution to warranty claims submitted./liliTimeliness in responding to filed claims and facilitation of repairs./liliEffective coordination of SOLV projects with client priorities./liliImproved user proficiency and user satisfaction./liliContinual personal growth and education./li/ulpMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:/pulli5-10 years of experience in Utility Scale Solar Project Management or Construction./liliAbility to comprehend and communicate complex technical explanations./liliExcellent written and verbal English communication skills./liliExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations./liliAble to work within a project team, as well as to analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently./liliStrong analytical and quantitative skills./liliUnderstand safety principles, to safely work on equipment./liliDemonstrate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office / ERP software)/liliAble to work in a fast-paced environment./liliProficiency and knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment./li/ulpPhysical Demands and Environmental Conditions:/pulliAbility to work in a high stress environment./liliRequires frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 20 or more lbs./liliConstant ability to see details at close range and at a distance, hear, talk, and possess depth perception./liliExtended periods of time sitting in front of computer using finger dexterity, and near and far vision./liliThe noise intensity level is low./li/ulpSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer/ppAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
