As a Clinical Pharmacy Technician, you will communicate with MDO regarding prescriptions, clarifying orders, taking new orders from providers, and contacting pharmacies for transfers.

Hours: Monday-Friday 2PM - 8PM CST

Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate with pharmacists and MDO.
• Clarifying prescription instruction details
• Order entry into the system for from providers for new prescriptions
• Contact other pharmacies to process transfers
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements

• Must possess an active TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.
• Experience with Framework/Docutrack preferred, not required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
• Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
