Description:

The Logistics Solutions Specialist 2 analyzes the supply chain, transportation, and distribution network to develop recommendations for reducing freight costs, creating material efficiencies, and improving on-time delivery. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining inventory levels across a multitiered distribution system with hundreds of locations and thousands of products, supporting sales while minimizing lost opportunities. The Specialist manages deployment planning across multiple regions and divisions, balancing local needs, regulatory controls, product transitions, and corporate targets.

Position Responsibilities
May include:

  • Extract data and generate custom reports to assist in performance improvement and decision-making.
  • Analyze market data, regulatory changes, and product transitions alongside manufacturing and logistics processes to develop distribution and stocking plans for regions.
  • Conduct research to support customer growth and assess risks and opportunities in aggregate sales and inventory plans.
  • Perform analysis to identify and simulate potential pitfalls and gaps, providing solutions to address them.
  • Develop and implement solutions across customer service, inventory planning, warehouse operations, and product procurement to improve service and reduce costs.
  • Create reporting, analyses, dashboards, and project plans using analytical tools and software to support organizational needs.
  • Maintain and improve system datasets for product, customers, and processes to support ERP and Deployment Systems and process improvements.
  • Mentor and support newer team members by sharing experience and skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on work-related projects and activities.
  • Follow established processes, procedures, and company policies.
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

  • Proficiency with analysis/reporting/development tools such as Excel, Access, SQL, R, Python, PowerBI, and Tableau.

Experience
  • 2+ years of complex and competitive analytics, procurement, fulfillment, or logistics experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, procurement, fulfillment, logistics, accounting, programming, project management, or process improvement preferred.
Education/Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or Data required.
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Analytics preferred.
