Their flagship product integrates advanced technology with robust safety features, enhancing protection and productivity. We are seeking a passionate Sales Manager to expand their presence in hardware chains and industrial distribution channels. A background in industrial distribution, personal safety, or gear equipment industries is highly preferred.

Job Description:
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager with a proven track record in the safety equipment or industrial supply industry. This role is critical in developing and executing a strategic sales plan to introduce innovative safety smart eyewear into new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:
    • Craft a sales plan targeting hardware chains and industrial distributors of safety eyewear.
    • Identify market opportunities and tailor strategies for maximum penetration.
  • Establish and Nurture Partnerships:
    • Build strong relationships with decision-makers in hardware chains and industrial distributors.
    • Negotiate contracts and secure product placements.
  • Market Analysis and Differentiation:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
    • Identify and promote unique selling propositions for the products.
  • Sales Performance and Growth:
    • Set ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Regularly analyze sales metrics and adjust strategies to drive growth.
  • Launch Readiness and Execution:
    • Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure launch readiness.
    • Coordinate promotional materials and resources for successful rollouts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product development to relay customer insights.
    • Partner with marketing on promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Customer Experience Optimization:
    • Deliver exceptional service to partners and end-users.
    • Gather feedback to continuously improve satisfaction and product adoption.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years in sales, particularly within the safety equipment or industrial supplies industry.
    • Proven success in placing products into hardware chains and industrial distribution channels.
  • Skills:
    • Strong industry network and excellent negotiation skills.
    • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in sales analytics tools for data-driven decision-making.
    • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    • Familiarity with smart technology applications in safety equipment.
Preferred:
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in sales and distribution.
  • Previous experience with tech-integrated safety products.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and familiarity with international distribution channels.
