About the Role

We're looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to lead mobile development for next-generation AI applications. You'll architect and ship high-quality mobile experiences that put powerful AI capabilities directly into users' hands-building products that are fast, intuitive, and delightful to use.

This role is perfect for someone who has taken mobile apps from 0 to 1, thrives in fast-moving startup environments, and cares deeply about performance, polish, and user experience. You'll own the entire mobile development lifecycle-from architecture decisions through App Store launches-working at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and mobile technology.
What You'll Do

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Drive projects from concept to launch, ensuring smooth product development and delivery.
• Own and manage the full mobile app release pipeline, including building, testing, and submitting apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
• Integrate APIs and blockchain data efficiently to deliver responsive, high-performance apps.
• Optimize app performance and memory utilization while maintaining security best practices.
• Review and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to code reviews, mentoring, and improving engineering standards.
• Stay up-to-date with React Native and mobile development best practices.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 4+ years of professional mobile application development experience
• 3+ years of React Native experience in production environments
• Proven track record of building and launching 0→1 mobile apps (consumer or fintech preferred)
• Direct experience shipping commercial apps independently to both App Store and Play Store, with a strong understanding of submission processes, review guidelines, and deployment optimization
• Deep knowledge of mobile fundamentals: performance optimization, modern UI/UX principles, and platform-specific patterns
• Strong command of native device capabilities including storage, encryption, memory management, background tasks, and permissions
• Expertise in TypeScript, React Hooks, and state management libraries (Redux or similar)
• Experience integrating APIs, analytics, and third-party SDKs
• Strong debugging skills and self-sufficient problem-solving ability
• Comfort using AI tools to enhance workflow while maintaining engineering fundamentals and code quality

Bonus Points:

• Experience with LLMs, on-device browsers, or chat applications
• Native mobile development experience (Swift for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android)
• Understanding of mobile security and encryption principles
• CI/CD pipeline and automated testing experience for mobile apps

Not Required: Prior blockchain experience is not required-we value strong mobile engineering skills and product instincts above domain-specific knowledge.

Compensation

Base Salary: $170,000 - $200,000
This range reflects base salaries for roles in the San Francisco market. For candidates in other locations, compensation is adjusted to remain competitive within their local market.

In addition to the base salary, all full-time team members receive an additional 10% to 25% in liquid benefits with upside based on role, experience, and impact. We believe in building together and sharing in the long-term success of the network. Compensation packages are designed to be competitive and aligned with the growth of both the team and the ecosystem.
